One thing that I think deserves much greater emphasis in Left Green agendas is a concern to fund research and demonstration of alternative sustainable economies that do not require petroleum liquid fuels or electricity generated by coal and nuclear. The fact that many Greens are now supporting nuclear energy is telling evidence that they themselves lack the informed practical conception of possible alternative economies that such research and demonstration would provide.
